Which is your favorite?
Which is your favorite?
I'm just curious to see which book series is your favorite (out of the ones I've listed)? Also, give an explanation as to why it is your favorite.
Okay, I'll go first.
This was not an easy choice for me. I like them all (for different reasons). But in the end, I chose the Last Apprentice series. I've always kind of liked scary books & movies, and the author does a good job of writing so that you get drawn into the book. He keeps it suspenseful so that you're on the edge of your seat and can't put the book down.
(If there is one that you think should be in the list, let me know and I'll see about adding it to the poll.)

Re: Which is your favorite?
For me, it's a tie between Harry Potter and The Last Apprentice, I think. I don't know which one I like better. The others are easy to cross off. The Chronicles of Narnia never really caught my interest. I've only read it once, as compared to multiple times for Harry Potter and The Last Apprentice. I've never finished The Lord of the Rings, so I can't claim that it's my favorite. And I just don't like The Inheritance Cycle as much as Harry Potter or The Last Apprentice.

It was really close for me as well. I normally I like things like the Last Apprentice series because I've always liked stuff that make your heart pound because they are scary and keep you on the edge of your seat. But Harry Potter was a close second even though it doesn't really fit that.
Re: Which is your favorite?
I haven't read LA so that's crossed off.
Personally, I loved the Narnia, though it was such a long time ago when I read them. I felt like choosing LOTR, since it's just the best one of them all, but I am still in the process of reading that (it's weird, it's a great series, but it is hard to just sit down and read it...)
Now, with Inheritance, I spent my whol life reading and rereading that crap. Eragon was like my all time favorite book for a while. I mean even if it's cliche, it's so epic how Eragon and Brom are traveling around, and it just really got me into the series.
I hated the last book, pretty much from start to finish (haven't touched the series after reading it), but still I'll say Inheritance is my favorite series on that list.

I did like the Inheritance Cycle up until the last book. The last book didn't end the series like I thought it was going to end. That was probably what stopped me from picking the Inheritance Cycle was I didn't like the ending.

Lord of the Rings would be my choice, I am addicted to it..... mainly Aragorn and Gandalf, but I like Arwen as well

Those were my favorite characters from the LotR as well. Well, I kind of figured you'd like Aragorn from your avatar on IF.
Re: Which is your favorite?
I only like Aragorn, Gandolf and Arwen from the LotR, I mean as far as my favorite characters go.
I liked it when they had to toss the dwarf across the gap in the first movie and he said "A dwarf does not get tossed" but they tossed him anyway (or something to that effect). I thought that was hilarious.

Yeah I remember that too lol. Have you seen the youtube video of lord of the rings bloopers?
Gandalf: "look at this typical elven craftsmanship"

I've seen the movies but I haven't gotten a chance to watch any of the bloopers yet. I'll have to do that.
